Business Support Programme Export Express Participants Go on Trade Missions

ExportExpress • October 16, 2018

In October and November, Latvian and Estonian companies, participating in the business support programme Export Express, will go on trade missions to Finland and Sweden.

In the first trade mission to Finland will participate 4 entrepreneurs from Latvia and 7 from Estonia, including representatives of renewable resources, food and information technologies companies. Meeting the potential foreign partners in person is a very important step when engaging in export partnership, that is why during this mission (15 to 19 October) the participants will have multiple meetings in various cities of Finland, such as Helsinki, Turku, Tuusula, Espoo, Vantaa, Lahti etc.

For the second and third missions, Export Express participants representing 15 Latvian and 5 Estonian companies will go to Sweden.

The aim of these trade missions is to provide the participants with a better insight in Finland’s and Sweden’s markets thus giving them useful knowledge for promoting the development of export amongst small and medium enterprises in Latvia and Estonia.

The programme is implemented by the leading export agency in the Baltic States – Gateway & Partners and business support organisations – Ventspils High Technology Park, Valmiera Development Agency, Business and Development Centre of Pärnu County, Tartu Science Park.

The programme is created as part of Interreg Estonia-Latvia cross-border project “Brave Idea Support Programme” (B-Idea), No. Est-Lat 47.
